Every fee, stay, document requirement and processing time on this site is meant to come from an official source — a government portal, an embassy, or the authority that runs the visa. This page explains how we check them, where each destination’s figures come from, and what we have not verified yet.
How we check
- We read the official source, not a summary of it. A figure is published only after it has been read on the government or embassy page that sets it — not from a news article, a forum post, or another agency.
- We name the source and the date. Where a figure is checked, the source and the date we checked it are shown beside it, or listed in the Source section of the page.
- We say what the source does not cover. Most official pages publish only part of what a reader needs. Where a source carries fees but no processing time, or sets eligibility but no fee, we say so on the page instead of implying the whole page was checked.
- Where no source supports a figure, the figure is removed or flagged. If an official source contradicts a figure, the figure is corrected. If nothing official supports it, we do not print it as fact.
Where the figures on each destination come from
Fifteen destination pages carry a source line naming the specific official page that was checked, and stating what that source does not cover. Two examples of the level of detail we aim for on every page:
- India — fees are checked against IVAC Bangladesh, the official visa application centre operator (fee revision dated 10 August 2025). Route durations and entry counts are checked against indianvisaonline.gov.in, the Government of India’s own visa portal, last checked 17 September 2026.
- Malaysia — the medical-visa lead time, the MHTC condition and the processing fees are checked against malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my, the Immigration Department of Malaysia’s portal (FAQ dated 8 September 2026).
Where a page names a source, that source is linked in the Source section at the foot of the page. That section also records the date the check was made.
What we have not verified
Being specific about this is the point of this page. As of September 2026:
- The medical directory. The hospital and doctor profiles on this site are compiled from public listings and from records supplied by partner organisations. They have not been individually confirmed with each hospital or doctor, and the counts shown describe the records in our directory rather than a verified list of providers. Confirm directly with the hospital before you commit to treatment or travel.
- Service pages. The descriptions of our own paid services are our own statements about what we do, not figures taken from an official source.
- Pages that name no official source. Where a page links no authority source, nothing on it is covered by a published-source check, and the page says so.
- Anything that changes without notice. Visa fees, entry rules and processing times change, and a page that was correct on the date we checked it can be out of date a week later. That is why every check carries a date, and why we ask you to confirm on the official source before you apply.
What this means for you
Use this site to understand the routes, the documents and the realistic costs before you spend money — then confirm the figures on the official source we link, before you apply. If you find something here that an official source contradicts, tell us and we will correct it.
