Visa fees
Bangladeshi applicants pay the standard US application fee and no separate issuance fee. The Department of State publishes a reciprocity schedule per nationality, and for Bangladesh the visitor categories read "Fee: None".
| Charge | Amount |
|---|---|
| Non-petition-based nonimmigrant visa application fee, includes B-1/B-2 | USD $185.00 |
| Petition-based categories (H, L, O, P, Q, R) | USD $205.00 |
| Bangladesh reciprocity issuance fee, B-1 / B-2 / B-1-B-2 | None |
| Bangladesh reciprocity issuance fee, F-1 | None |
The schedule lists B-1, B-2 and B-1/B-2 as one entry, three months validity, and F-1 as multiple entries with 60 months validity. The application fee is the same figure for every nationality; the reciprocity line is where Bangladesh differs, and here it adds nothing.
You complete the DS-160 online, pay through the payment channel designated by the US Embassy in Dhaka, then attend the interview at the embassy.
