Visa fees

Nepal publishes two official schedules and a Bangladeshi traveller can be affected by either, depending on whether you enter on a Dhaka-issued eTA or take a visa on arrival. One point matters more than the rest: as a SAARC country, Bangladesh gets its first tourist visa each visa year free.

Both tables are given deliberately, because the two routes differ in currency. eTA applications are made online through NepaliPort; visa-on-arrival fees are paid at Tribhuvan International Airport or a designated port of entry. The airport route, for a single 30-day trip, is the second table's $50 rather than the first table's TK 6,050.
