About these tools

Every tool on this index is free, and every figure on it carries a verification date. AbroadGuideBD has published guides for Bangladeshi applicants since 2019 from our Dhaka office, tracking visa rules across 172 Henley-indexed destinations and re-verifying them on a weekly pass; the fee and rule figures that feed these tools are the same numbers stamped onto our country guides and medical treatment guides.

The five walkthrough tools answer the questions our desk hears most often: what a tracking status on an official portal actually means, how the GCC medical fitness check works and how to read a FIT or UNFIT result, what a government visa fee really costs before agency charges, which funded scholarship programmes you are genuinely eligible for, and which photo specification your application needs. Each one routes you to the official checker or fee schedule behind a confirmation step, and each states its limits — the fee page, for example, calls itself a reference table rather than a live calculator, because consular rates move and application centres add their own service charges.

The two medical directories complete the index. The Hospital Directory compares 29 hospitals across 6 countries — 23 of them JCI-accredited and 16 running Bangla-speaking patient desks — with specialties — pricing on request; the Doctor Directory lists 64 specialists across 12 cities — credentials and pricing are confirmed with the hospital before any referral. Both are filterable listings over our medical-treatment network, so you can compare first and confirm with the hospital before you travel.

And what you will not find here matters just as much: no tool on this site asks for your passport number, nothing you type into the Study Abroad Match questionnaire is stored anywhere, and we never promise a visa outcome. When you do want a human — filing help, attestation, or a second pair of eyes on an application — the first consultation is free, and we will tell you honestly when you can do the step yourself. Where the figures come from

Our rule is simple: a fee, window or requirement appears on this site only when we can trace it to an official or primary source, and we re-check it on the weekly verification pass (last full refresh: 2026-08-24; visa-fee rows for India, Japan, UK, Australia, Canada and Turkey re-verified 2026-09-06/07). The records below sit behind the figures on the Visa Fee Calculator and the GAMCA / Wafid Guide; every country guide carries the same kind of record next to its numbers.

• The India rows on the Visa Fee Calculator record the fee waiver for Bangladeshi ordinary passport holders — visa fee waived, IVAC service fee BDT 1,500 — following the schedule published on indianvisaonline.gov.in, the Government of India e-visa portal (checked 2026-09-06).
• The USA row (B1/B2 MRV fee USD 185) follows the fee published by the official U.S. visa appointment service for Bangladesh, ustraveldocs.com/bd.
• The GCC medical-fitness guidance follows the examination scheme run by the Gulf Approved Medical Centres Association (GAMCA), now administered under the official Wafid portal.

Schengen, Germany, Japan and UK rows on the fee table trace to the same official announcements, linked from the Source card on each country guide. Treat every figure as a starting point: application centres add their own service charges, and fee schedules move. Confirm the current number on the official source before you pay anything, and if a website offers to collect a visa fee using your card details, close it and use the official payment channel instead.
