Visa fees are the most reliably misremembered number in travel planning. This page collects the government visa fees published in our country guides — the same figures that appear on each destination page with a last-verified stamp. It is a reference table, not a live calculator: exchange rates and consular fee adjustments move, so every figure below is a starting point you confirm on the official portal before paying anything.

Government visa fees (indicative; USD unless shown otherwise)

Destination Route Government fee
India e-Tourist Visa (30 days, double entry) Fee waived for BD ordinary passports
India e-Medical Visa (60 days, triple entry) Fee waived for BD ordinary passports
India Sticker business visa via IVAC Fee waived; IVAC service fee BDT 1,500
USA B1/B2 MRV application fee USD 185
Schengen (Germany, etc.) Short-stay Type C, adult EUR 90
Germany National visa (Type D), adult EUR 75
Japan Short-stay visa, Bangladeshi nationals Paid visa — see VFS Global Dhaka schedule (checked 2026-09-06)
UK Student visa GBP 524 (paid in GBP, checked 2026-09-07)

Application centres add their own service charges on top of the government fee. The total you pay at the counter is the sum of both; the receipt itemises them separately.

Why the figures carry stamps

Every row above comes from a country guide page whose Source card links the official fee announcement, opened through our verification panel. The stamp beside it records when our desk last checked. When a ministry adjusts a fee, the guide and this table move together on the next weekly verification pass.

Our privacy stance

This page does not collect data, and this site does not process payments. No calculator here asks for your passport number, card details or bank information. If a website offers to pay your visa fee for you with your card details, close it and use the official payment channel from the Source card instead.

What the fee does not include

When in doubt

Confirm the current fee on the official portal before transferring any money. Fees move, and paying yesterday’s rate to an unofficial collector is the most common fee-related loss we see reported at our desk.
